Thanks Boris, you worked hard and you rescued us!
Our kitchen ceiling had a leak, a big leak. Leaks are always hard to diagnose so we were already concerned, but we needed someone to help us fast. Luckily for us, Boris' team was working on a house just nearby and I called him.
1. He got back to me right away. He came over and took a look and came up with some quick ideas for stabilizing the situation.
2. Even though he was busy at our neighbor's house, he did everything he could to jump over and repair our leak (it ended up being rotten siding above a soffit).
3. He kept me up to date with time lines, he quoted me accurate estimates, if I called him...he called me back (that doesn't happen with a lot of contractors does it).
4. He gave me ideal repair options vs strong temporary options.
5. He didn't leave us hanging and I would use him and his team again.
Thanks Boris

It took some time for us to connect and find dates that worked, but I'm so glad that we did. Boris and his whole team were great to work with, respectful of our home, and thorough. Nothing was handwaved away; all our concerns or questions were answered attentively. Thank you!

Boris just finished a remodel of our Master Bathroom. We were very happy with Boris. We interviewed 3 contractors and he was the one with the best proposal. He started on time and finished on time. Boris has a very good crew and they do an excellent work. Lastly, he was on-site to supervise and we really appreciate that. I can't enough good things about him and we plan to use him for future projects.

After our kids left for college, my wife and I decided to remodel the bathroom they had shared. It was oddly configured and very dated so we wanted a fresh, more functional redesign for the entire space. We met with a few contractors to discuss the project but only one came up with a proposal that reflected our goals. That was Boris at Monsters Toolbox. Not only did he lay out a creative yet workable plan that was within our budget, he also worked closely with us on everything from the overall design to choosing specific fixtures and finishes. Throughout the project, Boris was responsive, diligent and professional, staying focused on delivering the outcome we hoped to achieve. We were 100% satisfied with the end result and would strongly recommend his company without reservation. If you want to work with someone who communicates well, excels at craftsmanship, and stays focused on meeting your goals, you could not do better than Boris at Monsters Toolbox.

I rarely write reviews, but it’s so hard to find an honest and thoughtful contractor that I wanted to put this out there so that other people will know about Monsters Toolbox. They are amazing!
We used Monsters Toolbox for a major bathroom remodel, including a complete change of the floor plan. Boris and his crew were excellent! We were worried we might have to hire an interior designer, but Monsters handled all of it! They put great care into redesigning the layout so that the space is way more usable than it was before.
What I appreciated most about them is that, as a woman with children, sometimes I don’t feel great about having workers in my home. Yet I felt completely comfortable having Boris and his crew in the house, even when I had to leave to pick up kids, etc. Also, they never talked down to me, which has been my experience in the past with a few contractors.
Because of the major redesign, I requested quite a few changes along the way, but they were very patient with me and never made me feel pressured. I had the feeling that they just really wanted me to be happy with the finished product and I am! And their clean-up was so thorough it’s like I never even knew they were there.
So really, I couldn’t recommend them enough…timely, extremely professional, competent, and thoughtful…even their subcontractors were great. They’re not cheap, but they’re worth every penny!

Far and away the most professional, personable, and skilled contractors I've ever worked with. Boris and his crew have the knowledge and experience to understand their clients' needs. They go to great lengths to ensure the job is done right and they communicate through every step of the process. I will use MT exclusively for my projects going forward.
